Dr. Lococo became interested in alternative medicine after experiencing medical problems of her own.

Realizing that conventional medicine did not offer a solution to the root cause of the problem, Dr. Lococo turned to Naturopathic Medicine.  Naturopathic Medicine not only rid Dr. Lococo of her symptoms but also fixed the root cause of the problem.

Dr. Lococo developed a newfound passion for Naturopathic Medicine and decided to enter the field.

Dr. Renata Taravski, ND

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Renata Taravski's passion for naturopathic medicine transcends her career, as she strives to be more than just a doctor.

She is a teacher, confidant, coach, health advocate and healer.

With a commitment to individualized care, she practices an integrative approach to health that places a focus on listening to individual needs in order to treat the whole person, rather than just their symptoms.

Dr. Taravski completed her undergraduate education at McMaster University, where she received an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science. She received her four-year medical graduate degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She is licensed through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy and is a professional member of the Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Doctors. Additionally, she has training in Yoga Therapy and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

During her final year at CCNM, Dr. Taravski completed a 12-month work placement at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC), the largest teaching clinic in Canada. During her time in the RSNC, she was on the Sports Medicine specialty shift where she focused on pain management (acute and chronic) and rehabilitation. In addition to her work in Canada, she has conducted medical fieldwork in Nicaragua alongside Naturopath’s Without Borders, where she provided healthcare to an impoverished community while focusing on education, growth, and sustainability.

Dr. Taravski’s journey to becoming a Doctor has introduced her to the practice of Mindfulness, which she carries into every aspect of her life. This practice has fostered within her a deep understanding and gratitude for the importance of balance. By incorporating both Eastern and Western philosophies of medicine into her practice, she builds treatment plans that restore the body’s equilibrium by focusing on the relationship between aspects of a patient’s lifestyle, and their health. She looks forward in working together to help you Discover Your Balance – Mind, Body and Soul.

Meghan Manzo, H.O.M.

Meghan Manzo first started her journey into health care when she enrolled to become a registered nurse at McMaster. She graduated with honors receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then completed her critical care training and is working in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at the Hamilton General Hospital.

Her passion for alternative medicine developed after being treated for her own medical issues with the successful use of homeopathy. She decided to practice what she was preaching and enrolled in the 3 year program to become a Homeopath at the Canadian College of Homeopathy located in Toronto, ON. After completing her diploma she went on to register with the College of Homeopaths and is now a licensed Homeopathic Practitioner. She practices Classical Homeopathy, which is based on a set of principles developed by the founding father, Samuel Hahnemann.

Meghan started her practice with Reiki in 2008 being initiated to her 1st Degree. She then continued on with her practice in 2011 and received her 2nd Degree. Meghan is currently under way to receiving her Mastery. Her training is based on the principles of Usui Reiki, which originated in Japan in 1922 by the Buddhist Mikao Usui.

Her passion for both Homeopathy and Reiki is shown through her dedication and practice. Her approach to care is to encompass all aspects of one’s health, which includes the physical, emotional and mental well-being of each person on an individualized basis. Joining the inspiring team at Lococo’s is an exciting venture and she looks forward to making Homeopathy and Reiki an integral part of the practice.
