What is Intravenous Vitamin Therapy?

Intravenous therapy or IV therapy is the infusion of liquid substances directly into a vein. The word intravenous simply means: within the vein.

Intravenous Therapy is a unique combination of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, botanicals and homeopathic medications that are specific to the patient.  Each treatment is customized to the patient’s needs. Intravenous therapy is preferable to oral supplementation of vitamins and minerals as we are reliant on our digestive system to effectively breakdown the supplement/food and extract the appropriate amounts of the vitamins and minerals.  Therefore, bioavailability of vitamins and minerals differ with each individual. With intravenous administration of vitamins and minerals, we are able to know the exact amounts that the body is receiving of the vitamins and minerals as they are delivered straight into the venous system bypassing the digestive system.
